Avocado Salad Dressing
A salad dressing with healthy fats , a perfect complement to your vegetable salad.
Equipment
- 1 Blender
Ingredients
- 1 medium ripe avocado peeled and sliced
- 1 juice from one lemon and/or lime Lime or lemon juices may be combined or used seperately
- 1/3 - 1 cup water More water may be added for desired consistency
Instructions
- In a blender, place the peeled and sliced avocado.
- Add lemon and lime juices and water to make it thick but pourable.
- Add optional honey and salt to taste.
- Serve immediately. (color darkens, longer it sits).
Notes
Bonus Tips for Variation
Add ½ small cucumber, one handful fresh basil, one small container of plain, non-dairy yogurt, 2-3 cloves garlic, and water to desired consistency.
