Handling stress improperly and leading an unhealthy lifestyle can lead to dire consequences for everyone. During my first year of college, I discovered that I had ulcerative colitis/Crohn’s disease. It was both painful and debilitating. For years, I was in and out of the hospital, enduring colonoscopies that yielded the same results each time.

However, fresh air, sunlight, moderation, exercise, hydration, rest (and I can’t emphasize rest enough), proper nutrition, and trust in God have transformed my life. Following God’s principles has truly saved me.

I was experiencing stress-related anxiety, problems with stomach and abdominal dysfunction, and insomnia when I was introduced to the program. The program provided detailed information on the types of nutritional foods and recipes for preparing them.
The program also discussed the importance of exercise, recommended different types, and discussed how best to integrate them into one’s daily routine to improve mental and physical health. It shows how to control stress by eating the right foods for the needs of our organs, thinking positively, and engaging with positive people.
Although I am still healing, the program has helped me adjust and control situations where possible. It was a very detailed and worthwhile program, and I benefited greatly from it. I therefore thank Nadine for inviting me to share the experience.
